Babes on motorcycles. I even got flashed here once. Talk about finding a second wind.
It is one of the most classic sections of Mulholland Highway. For that reason alone you have to love this climb.
It is a classic curvy climb. Lots of bends and curves that make it hard to tell if you have fish to catch or if you are being reeled in. Keeps you on your toes.
Neat oak trees and rocks in the mid section.
Cooler later in the day for the summer months.
You get to ride by “Rock Store” which is an experience all on its own.
There are lots of riders on this section and you often get a chance to test your limits against some really hardcore cyclists.
Lots of traffic on weekends, including lots of crotch rockets that have no clue how to ride a motorcycle. Perhaps that is why so many people die on this section of road each year.
A short climb at just over 2 miles.
